Summer is the perfect time to enjoy outdoor exercise in the fresh air & sunshine!

Here are some things to consider when starting outdoor exercise: 

  • Stay well-hydrated

  • Make sure to stretch

  • Find activities you enjoy: hiking, jogging, swimming, biking, walking, tennis, gardening - there are endless options to stay active this summer!

It's a great time of year to try something new! Here are some healthy recipe ideas to try at home:

Fruit-Infused Water 


  • Better Flavor!
  • Less Sugar!
  • Hydration! 

Delicious Recipes to Try at Home:

Grab your favorite pitcher (about 5 cups of water) and use high-quality fruits & herbs:

  1. Add one sliced lemon and one sliced orange into the pitcher to provide lasting taste
  2. A handful of sliced strawberries with 5-6 leaves of basil. Crush/crumple the basil slightly to release oils into water
  3. Five slices of lemon, a handful of blueberries sliced with a sprig of rosemary - press the leaves slightly to release oils into water
  4. Slice one cucumber and about 10 leaves of mint. Crush/crumple the leaves to release oils into water
  5. Option for Soda Drinkers: 1 can of plain seltzer water, 5 mint leaves crushed to release oils and 1 lime cut in half and squeezed into a glass - add seltzer to mint & lime and ice if desired
